The assessment to be performed reveals the risks and threats specific to a given pipeline.  The threat assessment is for the actions including but not limited to vandalism, terrorism and theft. Upon the identification of the main risks, the ultimate goal is to ensure the highest security possible for the pipeline at the minimum cost possible.  Such security solutions are actively used in major energy plants including
